What's the story!
My name is Alex Hughes, and I am a 2D Background Artist and Concept Designer currently based in Dublin, Ireland.
I have a continuously growing passion for storytelling, particularly in the realm of visual storytelling, with a strong emphasis on backgrounds and layouts. Additionally, I find great satisfaction in working on personal projects and aspire to become a director in the future.
Recently worked on the latest season of the hit show, "Rick and Morty" as well as a confidential Apple TV project. Additionally, I graduated from Ballyfermot College of Further Education (BCFE) with a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Animation. During my time at BCFE, I directed the award-winning film "Shelly Banks." I am currently available for employment and am open to relocating for any exciting opportunities that may arise.
